SAGA By-Laws

Legally, we are an association under Article 60 ff of the Swiss Civil Law Book. Our aim is the advancement of competiton glider aerobatics in every respect. SAGA is a member of the Swiss Gliding Federation (SFVS) and affiliated to the Aero Club of Zürich (AeCZH). See our By-Laws in German.

 

The Executive Committee of SAGA

The executive committee of SAGA consists of five members. These are the current members.

 

Terms of Entry and Tariffs

We do not conduct any basic gliding instruction, so you can only become a flying member of SAGA if you have a current EASA sailplane pilot licence. All you have to do, is fill in the Entry-Form and send it to our Treasurer. The entry must be approved by the Executive Committee. There is no Entry Fee. Annual fees and flying costs see our Tariffs.

 

Flight Operations

SAGA owns one MDM-Fox (HB-3241) which is stationed in Schänis (LSZX), and one SZD-59 (HB-3559) stationed in Amlikon (LSPA). Flying in Schänis is possible daily from March to October. Inquiries should be directed either at our President or the Webmaster. See the detailed regulations for flying in Schänis.
